The quail eggs below are Coturnix and Bobwhite . The ones that are pointy on the end are the Bobwhite. The coturnix are laid with brown splotches (which I remove by etching) and the Bobwhite are a beautiful pure white. These eggs are all about the same size though the photos are not. They are about 3" or so around but as I find that hard to envision, think of them as about 1 1/2 inches tall. Quail eggs being cleaned and seen in the hand can be found here.
